Description
The Creatinine reagent quantitatively determines creatinine values in urine using a modified Jaffe method in which the analyte reacts with hydroxide and picric acid to yield a colored complex read spectrophotometrically at 505 nm. The color intensity is proportional to the concentration of creatinine present providing quantitative results accurate to less than 0.90 mg/dL. The Creatinine reagent kit contains one bottle of R1 reagent and one bottle of R2 reagent. Stability and Storage: Unopened and opened bottles are stable until expiration date noted on bottle when stored tightly capped at room temperature. If left on instrument they should be capped or taken off the instrument and capped.
